Professor Bwisa developed the 2018-2023 strategic plan for the African Institute for Capacity Development (AICAD).
He executed the 2016 staff capacity development program for the top 100 mid-sized companies in Kenya on behalf of Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) East Africa.
In 2010, he was hired by the European Union to train officers of Kenya’s Ministry of Trade in entrepreneurship and business planning.
Professor Bwisa conducted Kenya’s Westlands Constituency Development Fund (CDF) strategic plan in 2015.
In 2008, he organized entrepreneurial business development seminar series for account holders of the Business Club at Barclays Bank and Biashara Club at Kenya Commercial Bank.
In 2011, Prof. Bwisa developed a marketing strategy for the Kenya Institute of Bankers (KIB).
He conducted change management training for middle and top managers of Posta Kenya Corporation in 2007.
In 2006, Professor Bwisa was contracted by the United Nations Center for Regional Development (UNCRD) to develop and execute an Africa training course on local and regional development planning and management, focusing on project management.
The African Union – InterAfrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) hired him in 2005 to undertake entrepreneurial training for private veterinarians in business development.
In 2004, the World Bank contracted him to conduct a capacity-building assessment for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in procurement for Kenya’s Ministry of Finance.
